I need to lose some weight– about 40-50 pounds. I am intelligent and know that decreasing caloric intake and increasing my activity level will do that, but its so hard to stick to a diet when everyone else in the family isn’t dieting.
Any tricks or tips that I’m not aware of? Or do I have to just commit to Weight Watchers or another plan and also put my family on a diet as well?

I am trying to lose about 10 pounds, maybe 15 at the maximum, but I would like to do it quickly. I plan to do a little exercise on the days I don’t run, but nothing extreme.
