I’d like to maintain the muscle but lose the fat in my journey to weight loss. I’m pretty muscular and would like to stay that way. However, I’m trying to get rid of the extra pounds in order to get the 6 pack. So I’m figuring I need to lose a few more pounds, probably about 20 to 25 more pounds. I’m only 10 pounds overweight according to the men’s height and weight table though. 5′9 and 190 pounds right now.

I’ve been on a work out routine for 1.5 months and doing 45 min cardio and weight lifting 3 times a week. I have seen loss in size (inches), but not weight. I know you gain muscle, which messes with what you see in fat loss on the scale. So, I am wondering when this balances out. I go to a tiny gym and have to trainer to help tell me how many pounds of muscle I’ve gained. Any estimation would be helpful to motivate me.

I’m around 240 lbs and 5′11. I starting weight training about 2 months ago and just realized that I was neglecting cardio. I’m definitely seeing some differences from the weight training, but my extra fat is hiding the real changes. I know that it isn’t an instant drop and I know that diet has everything to do with weight loss, but I do a run/walk for about 30 minutes and feel like it is doing nothing. Any help is appreciated.

I’m 5′9″ (female) and am currently tyring to get into better shape. I know that I should weight between 125-165 pounds. I’m currently on the higher end. I’ve got an athletic build and am trying to trim while tone but I want to know what I should aim for in terms of weight loss on the follwoing plan.
I’m on a 1200 – 1500 a day calorie limit. I walk my dog 1 hour every day ( twice at 30 minutes). I rollerblade (in-line skate) 45 mins a day and lift upperbody and do core work every other day from 30 mins.
Based on that information, can someone give me an idea what I should expect in terms of weekly weight loss?
Thanks!

I’m considering using apple cider vinegar for weight loss. I know that there is a lot of speculation about it, but it is cheap so i am willing to try it.
Is there a reason I should take it before a meal?
Also, I’m very fat. Can taking more than 5tsp/day as opposed to 3tsp/day provide additional benefits?
Please tell me if you’ve tried it and if you’ve tried any other succesful weight loss supplements.

He has had surgery for hemangiosarcoma, and I want to prolong the life he has left.
I’ve just switched him to a raw diet combined with all protein and vegetable kibble. No grains.
